Octopus Choice

I’ve been investing through Octopus Choice since October 2016. In my quest to find the most stable peer to peer companies, Octopus Choice intrigued me so I wanted to learn more about its operations.

Caroline Flagg, Head of Distribution (Sales) at Octopus Labs, offered me the chance to visit the offices and have a chat.

I toured the different parts of Octopus Group and was shown the different businesses and sectors that Octopus is involved with. It was an impressive operation.

After my visit, here are some of my Octopus Choice observations:

  • Larger sized company with over 800 staff
  • Stable and well funded by the much larger Octopus Group
  • Sister company Octopus Investments has over £6bn under asset management
  • In-house Octopus tech and property acquisition companies
  • Innovative company with progressive ideas
  • Loan book that continues to grow
  • Low defaults

Every company including Octopus Choice has its pros and cons so I recommend reading my full Octopus Choice review to find out more about the company.
